The trivet from Thés
This dance represents an absolutely necessary object for the old time families: the "trèpol", that's the trivet.
The trivet was placed over the embers ("bronze" in dialect), near the fire and was used like support for pots or saucepans, to keep warm the foods.
The dancers slide to the centre with the heels and, held by the partners, feign the shape of the trivet.
